Notes:
- In the event of the extremely slow filtration process, please rinse the filter with warm water, not boiling water.
- Please soak the filter and pads in water overnight, to remove the air in between the particles and material inside.
- If the filter turns green, rinse with warm water and take care that the unit does not stand in direct sunlight.
- If water flows over the middle ring, it may be because the activated carbon is blocked. Simply rinse the filter with warm water (not boiling water).

- Water has a different taste depending on the elements it contains. Tap water may have some smell before it is filtered. The filtration process removes elements like Chlorine, Fluoride, and heavy metals such as Lead. These elements affect the taste of water. Our water filters also remineralize the water, adding trace minerals that make the water slightly alkaline and better for health. This gives a slight taste to the filtered water.
- We think that our filtered water has a neutral or mild taste because of the minerals, but it does not taste like chlorinated or polluted water, and that is how it should be.
- However, taste is a personal preference, and everyone may have a different opinion. We assure you that water filtered with Aimex water filters is pure and healthy, and the taste is what most people like. But we cannot change the taste if you have a different preference, because filtration is a fixed process.
- You may need some time to get used to the new taste of filtered water when you start drinking it. Knowing that it is good for your health makes it more enjoyable.
